NICC Membership

NICC is a non-profit artists initiative run by and for artists, it is founded by professional visual artists in order to advocate their rights. Our aim is to set up a qualitative social framework within which the autonomous artistic practice can develop professionally.

NICC functions as a mediator between the artists and the government, art organizations, and other actors in the cultural field. In addition to a program of social actions, reflection, and research, the NICC presents an artistic program of lectures, exhibitions, symposiums, and presentations on contemporary professional practice.

By becoming a member you help give a voice to artists.

By subscribing as a NICC member you will be kept informed monthly on all our activities, our events, and projects. Each joining member can apply to the board to become a member of the general meeting.

Guided Tour | Artist Talk | Concert

17.02.23: Guided Tour (meeting point metro Sint Guido 18h) & Artist-talk (NICC Brussels 19h30).

EN After the vernissage of the AAW Highlights: Jolien Naeyaert and Aleksandra Chaushova at the Vitrine, the presentation of the artists will stay on display but other time bound happenings will be organized as well: Such as a guided tour by artist Jolien Naeyaert, she will guide you past the Anderlechtian café’s she frequented to draw in preparation for the exhibition. This will take place on February 17, starting at 6pm, the meeting point for participants will be outside the metro stop Sint-Guido in Anderlecht. Subsequently on February 17, starting at 7:30pm, curator and writer Zeynep Kubat will mediate an artist-talk with both artists. And, to end things properly, the band Dünke Well will perform during the finissage March 12 starting at 17:00.


NL Na de vernissage van de AAW Highlights: Jolien Naeyaert en Aleksandra Chaushova in de Vitrine, de opstelling van de kunstenaars blijft te zien, maar er worden ook andere tijdgebonden evenementen georganiseerd: Zoals een rondleiding door Jolien Naeyaert, die u langs de Anderlechtse café's leidt die zij bezocht om te tekenen ter voorbereiding van de tentoonstelling. Deze wandeling vindt plaats op 17 februari en begint om 18:00, het ontmoetingspunt voor deelnemers is buiten de metro halte Sint-Guido in Anderlecht. Aansluitend op 17 februari, om 19:30 uur, zal curator en schrijver Zeynep Kubat bemiddelen in een artist-talk met beide kunstenaars. En, om goed af te sluiten, zal de band Dünke Well optreden tijdens de finissage op 12 maart om 17:00.


FR Après le vernissage d’AAW Highlights: Jolien Naeyaert and Aleksandra Chaushova, les oeuvres  restent exposées dans la Vitrine mais plusieurs évènements ponctuels sont également organisés: À commencer par une visite guidée en compagnie de Jolien Naeyaert, pour découvrir les cafés anderlechtois où elle dessinait durant la préparation de l’exposition. Cette activation aura lieu le 17 février, à partir de 18:00, le point de rencontre des participants se situe à l'extérieur de la station de métro Sint-Guido à Anderlecht. Ensuite, le 17 février toujours, à partir de 19:30, la curatrice et auteure Zeynep Kubat animera une discussion avec les deux artistes.Enfin, pour clôturer comme il se doit l’exposition, le groupe Dünke Well jouera lors du finissage le 12 mars dès 17h.
